Makita MD00000002 Maktrak Rolling Toolbox

The Makita MD00000002 MAKTRAK Transport Tool Box provides a tough, high capacity mobile storage solution designed for professional tradespeople who need to move substantial quantities of tools, batteries, chargers and accessories around the jobsite.

Forming part of Makita?s modular MAKTRAK storage system, it combines generous internal space with rugged construction, large wheels and intelligent organisation to make loading, transporting and accessing essential equipment easier.

Designed to integrate with the existing MAKTRAK range, additional compatible cases can be connected to create a customised mobile storage setup.

This modular approach allows different tools and accessories to be organised across multiple cases while keeping everything together during transportation. At the base, large wheels help the loaded system travel across working environments, while the height adjustable telescopic handle provides a comfortable pulling position for different users.

Inside, the spacious main compartment provides plenty of room for larger power tools and equipment. A removable storage tray creates a convenient separate area for smaller tools and accessories, helping prevent frequently used items from becoming buried beneath larger equipment. The removable lid also provides excellent top down access when loading, unloading or reorganising the case.

Built for demanding site conditions, the MD00000002 features a durable copolymer plastic construction and an IP65 protection rating, providing effective resistance against dust and water ingress when correctly closed. Large, easy to operate latches are designed to remain practical even while wearing work gloves, making access straightforward throughout a busy working day.

Security has also been considered. An integrated provision for attaching a padlock helps protect valuable equipment during storage and transportation, while a discreet compartment provides space for a compatible GPS tracker. This gives professionals additional options for protecting and monitoring their tool storage system.

Measuring 493 x 570 x 650mm and weighing 10.2kg, the Makita MAKTRAK Transport Tool Box supports a maximum load of 114kg. Whether transporting cordless power tools between jobs or creating a comprehensive modular workshop storage system, the MD00000002 delivers the capacity, mobility, protection and organisation required for professional site use.
