The Dewalt DCF870 18V XR Brushless Hydraulic Impact Driver is a high performance tool that is not only impressively compact, but incredibly quiet too.

The DCD870 incorporates and active valve system which compensates for viscosity changes in the oil filled mechanism for improved performance and longevity along with a lower vibration threshold as well as longer life.  The lower noise threshold ensures that you can keep working in locations where noise levels are monitored such as schools, offices and hospitals.

The hydraulic system allows for a sustained torque over a longer period per impact instead of the brief peak torque per impact as seen on other impact drivers.

With a class leading head length of 100mm, the DCF870 delivers both the power and precision that people demand as well as expect from Dewalt. And it doesnt disappoint.

The compactly designed impact driver delivers, thanks to an improved brushless motor, up to 50Nm fastening torque along with up to 3000rpm no load speed and 4500ipm impact rate.

The variable speed trigger lets you control the speed of the driver, while the bit holder design ensures less bit run out.  Comfortable to hold and operate thanks to the ergonomic grip design, the driver includes a 9-LED Ring light which, at 82 lumens, offers increased visibility in darker locations.

The DCF870 also offers an intuitive 4 mode select switch as well as flashlight mode which allows the 9 LEDs to be lit for 20 minutes. Once pressed, the 20 min icon is lit. When deactivated, standard 20 second is active.

At the heart of the Impact driver is the brushless motor that allows you to use it efficiently.  As part of the design, the tool utilizes every bit of battery power when you need, all while reducing the need for ongoing maintenance by reducing the amount of heat generated and working more efficiently.
